Your verified portfolio is a digital record of what you own, what it cost, what it is worth now, and what evidence backs each claim. It works the same whether a card is in your hands, in the post, or with a grading company.
This distinction matters more than anything else on this page.
A verified portfolio does not mean Poke-Trade holds your cards. We do not warehouse collections. The record is the product: it stays accurate and exportable while the physical cards sit wherever they should be — with you, with a trade partner, in the post, or with an independent grading company.
That is what makes Poke-Trade a source of truth without possession. The record has to be right regardless of who is physically holding the card.
Per copy, not per card — two copies of the same card can have different costs, conditions, grades and locations.
One field on the record answers 'where is this card right now?'
If you arrange third-party storage with a provider that offers it, the record can say so too. Poke-Trade does not provide that storage and does not take custody of a collection for safekeeping.
Grading, authentication, certification and storage services are provided independently by their respective providers. Poke-Trade is not affiliated with or endorsed by a provider unless specifically stated.
